MRI Scans for Crohn's Disease

Specialist Providers can now refer patients for a MRI Scan related to Crohn's disease that will be Bulk-billed at Melbourne Radiology Clinic

From 1 March 2015, an amendment took effect that permits claims for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans for Crohn’s disease using partial Medicare-eligible MRI equipment.

This means that a Specialist Provider can refer a patient for a MRI Scan related to Crohn's disease which will be bulk-billed at Melbourne Radiology Clinic.
